General : What is the mineralogical composition of Sand?

Sand it is simply a mixture of fragments derived from whatever source material is being broken down into the accumulation of small grains we call sand. It does not have any fixed composition, either mineralogical or chemical, and although some masses of sand are almost monomineralic, they are not "mono-phase" in the crystallographic or thermodynamic senses.
